Sales Engineer – Construction Chemicals & Waterproofing

ISC Group is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer – Construction Chemicals & Waterproofing to drive technical sales, expand the contractor and distributor network and grow market share for specialist waterproofing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and grow market share for specialist waterproofing products through contractors, distributors and relevant project channels.
• Develop and implement a commercial plan to expand the customer base and increase repeat business.
• Manage and support retail sales performance, including recruitment, target setting, coaching and monitoring when applicable.
• Build durable relationships with contractors, distributors, project stakeholders and key accounts.
• Prepare sales, revenue and expense reports alongside realistic management forecasts.
• Identify market changes, emerging opportunities, competitor activity and new products.
• Communicate construction chemical product features and application techniques clearly to technical and commercial customers.

Job requirements

• More than four years’ experience in construction chemicals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; experienced non-manager career level.
• Knowledge of construction materials, waterproofing product systems and application methods.
• Understanding of contractors, the local construction market and relevant product ranges.
• Strategic selling, negotiation, presentation and deal-closing skills.
• Strong customer relationships, clear technical communication and problem-solving ability.
