Static-control flooring for sensitive facilities
The floor system is coordinated with grounding arrangements, substrate preparation and the required testing. Conductive, dissipative and antistatic requirements should be stated clearly when selecting a system and reviewing its acceptance criteria.
Electrical testing is part of floor acceptance
The installation includes the specified conductive or dissipative layers and any required connection strips. Earthing points are coordinated with the electrical specialist. Electrical resistance, test methods and acceptance limits are checked against the specification, with measurement locations and results recorded.

Questions about this service
Is ordinary epoxy flooring automatically an ESD floor?
No. ESD performance requires a specified system with compatible components, electrical connections and testing.
Are copper strips enough on their own?
No. Performance depends on the floor, electrical connections and the other static-control arrangements in the working area.
