Factory and warehouse epoxy flooring
A floor specification should reflect vehicle traffic, cleaning, impact and the actual chemicals used on site. A thin coating and a high-build or self-leveling system have different roles. We review the existing slab and proposed duty before selecting the build-up and planning installation.
Garages, ramps and parking areas
Vehicle areas need attention to tyre traffic, slip resistance, drainage, joints and line marking. Some applications require a dedicated traffic coating system. The final choice depends on whether the deck is internal or exposed, its movement and the required protection.
When another flooring system may be appropriate
Where heat, cleaning or chemical exposure is demanding, compare polyurethane-cement and U-Crete flooring. Electrical control requirements may call for ESD flooring. A smooth finish can be considered through a specified self-leveling system.
Concrete preparation before coating
- Inspect moisture, contamination, surface strength and old finishes.
- Prepare the surface mechanically and remove unsuitable material.
- Repair defects and detail the existing joints.
- Apply the compatible primer, body layers and finish.
- Check the specified finish and allow curing before reopening.
A coating does not correct an unresolved moisture source or structural defect. Necessary concrete repairs should be coordinated before installation.

Yes, where the substrate can be brought to the required condition. Old coatings, oil contamination or moisture may require additional preparation or a different system.

The main factors include area, substrate condition, specified thickness, joints, finish and access. Share a floor plan and operating requirements for a scoped quotation.
How long must the area stay closed?
The answer depends on preparation, the system and site conditions. Walking, vehicle use and full chemical exposure can have different release times, which should be agreed in the installation plan.
