Bituminous membrane waterproofing for foundations.
View projectISC Group installs bituminous waterproofing membranes for roofs, foundations and basements in Egypt. The membrane, application method and protection are selected to match the approved design, exposure and condition of the substrate.

APP and SBS describe different types of modified bitumen. Selection depends on the product data, required flexibility, temperature exposure and installation method. The number of layers, reinforcement and thickness are part of the specified system; they are not interchangeable details.
We review slopes, drains, parapets and service penetrations before laying the membrane. Exposed roofs and protected roof assemblies require different detailing and finishes. Where the roof also needs thermal insulation, the complete sequence of layers is coordinated before work starts.
The system must remain continuous between the foundation, retaining walls and construction details. Protection before backfilling and subsequent trades is included in the installation scope. Existing water ingress may require crack injection as well as membrane repair.
Torch-applied work requires suitable site controls. Self-adhesive systems have their own preparation and application requirements. The project method statement follows the selected manufacturer’s instructions.
Compare PVC waterproofing, TPO roofing and our wider waterproofing service. See ISC project experience and discuss the specified system with our technical team.

View projectNo. A coating, primer and reinforced sheet membrane perform different roles in a waterproofing assembly. A product should only be used for the purpose and application conditions stated in its technical information.
The existing layers, adhesion and trapped moisture must be assessed first. Some roofs need local repair or removal before a replacement system can be installed.
Provide the roof or foundation area, drawings, specification, condition photographs and access information. Details and protection can affect the cost as much as the main membrane area.
Share your project location, drawings, quantities and site photographs so we can review the requirements.
